About Canvasthing

Canvasthing started as a small personal project because I couldn't find a tool that kept everything centered around a properly scaled canvas. I wanted to set my canvas size once, import a reference photo, position and crop it to match, then have every grid, outline, and sketch effect stay perfectly aligned to that same canvas without starting over each time.

IIt's published simply because if it helped me, it might help someone else working from a reference photo on canvas, paper, or any other physical medium. There's no big company or team behind it, just a personal project that grew into something worth sharing.

If Canvasthing turns out to be useful to you too, that's the whole goal, and I plan to keep improving it as time allows. The best way to support the project is by sharing feedback on what's missing or confusing, telling other artists about it, or, if you'd like, buying me a coffee on Ko-fi. And if you create something using Canvasthing and feel like sharing it with us, it would genuinely mean a lot to see what you've made with it. Either way, thanks for giving it a try.
